Opera https://coral-gb-casino.co.uk/, we interviewed the producer Destiny 2 Jared Berbak, who joined the team Bungie During the development of DLC The Taken King. Jared is a real fan of his own game and an ardent guardian of her secrets. But we still managed to find out some details about upcoming updates.
Live-Action Trailer of the game.
– From a place to the quarry, Jared. It's no secret that many come to Destiny for PVP content. But in the new part, he seriously changed. If earlier in all PVP mode, it was possible to play the three of us or the sample, now you have to fight in a team of four fighters. Bungie explained such a change in balance with the desire to make the battle more tactical. The game community has responded to such innovations ambiguously. Are you going to return the battles "6 to 6"?
Jared Berbak: Bungie always listens to the opinion of the players and tries to add things that they like. But sometimes developers should stand on their. We are absolutely sure that the future of Destiny 2 PVP-mode is precisely behind the 4 to 4 configuration. In this composition, players are more likely to learn something, because in the turmoil of “6 to 6” modes, inexperienced players have hard. Now we are creating cards and modes imprisoned precisely for two teams of four people. Perhaps the players are not used to it yet. But we are sure that over time, this format will become the gold standard of the Destiny series.
The developers have changed the Destiny PVP stand-up to 4 to 4 configuration and now develop all cards and modes for this model.
– Players complain about annoying situations when four coordinated Soklanovs enter the map, and the game puts up four strangers against them. You understand, the latter in such a situation remain not in the most profitable position. Are you going to change the selection algorithms for players for a multiplayer session?
Jared Berbak: Our game designers have developed an impressive system of parameters and formulas, which allows them to configure the balance in different multiplayer modes. But for its correct work, they need a lot of external information. The main source of such data for us is our players. We collect reports on game sessions, analyze the experience of players and improve algorithms based on this information. But, of course, it takes time for this.
– And like Destiny 2 with shooting additions?
Jared Berbak: As players could already notice, in a online store on different platforms you can already buy Season Pass with two announced additions. In addition, we update quests and events on different planets every week. Most of the players have most likely participated in the first raid – “Leviathan” – and the so -called “fractions race”. And, of course, the hardcore PVP mode of Iron Banner returned, it is active until October 17.
The game does not allow you to get bored in anticipation of a new raid or DLC. Every week new team activities appear here.
– Will users of personal computers be able to buy Season Pass separately from the main game?
Jared Berbak: If it is about PC, then yes. There is an opportunity to buy it separately.
– Are you going to add procedurally generated content? The same “lost sectors” on different planets are collected “manually”, in a sense they are disposable. It seems to us that Destiny would only benefit from the procedurally generated dungeons.
Jared Berbak: As you yourself said, the “lost sectors” were created for a single but unique experience. The design of the locations themselves, the balance of waves of enemies, their behavior – all this works to create an interesting adventure. Our task was to tell a story without words, and I hope we succeeded. As for the procedurally generated-content, recently said in an interview with Steve Cotton, the Bungie gamedector: the idea is very tempting, but we do not plan anything specific on this score.
The "lost sectors" have become one of Destiny 2 innovations. So far, the developers do not plan to make them procedurally generated, but who knows ..
– Do you finally add real fights on spaceships?
Jared Berbak: You will ask a lot of interesting questions that I have no right to answer (laughs). So far we are not announcing anything, but this does not mean that such seditious ideas have not visited us ..
– Then back to more mundane issues. You play a lot in your own game. What weapon in Destiny 2 you have a favorite? Of course, Mida Multi-Tool is not considered, this assault rifle was in the first part.
Jared Berbak: MIDA Multi-Tool is not counted? Then this is a difficult question! This week I played a lot precisely the "Free" in the PVP Trita of the Nine. I'm still trying to get used to and adjust to myself The Legend of Acrius shotgun. But perhaps my favorite is the Wardcliff Coil rocket launcher. This thing shoots dozens of missiles at the same time and in skillful hands becomes weapons of mass destruction. On the other hand, I have already managed to die fifty times from my own missiles, so you need to be careful with her.
It's too early to think about the battles on spacecraft, but our fantasies are not in a hurry to cut our fantasies.
– We have very little time left, and it is time to ask the last, very uncomfortable, question.
Jared Berbak: I'm ready.
– What happened to Mara Owls, the queen "awakened"? Is she alive?
Jared Berbak: The last time we saw her in intro to complement The Taken King. Her ship was destroyed by the dreadnought of Orasses. Remember, in the last moments she prayed or, perhaps, meditated?..
– AND?
Jared Berbak: And … I can't answer this question! Sorry. But I will slightly increase the secret of our PC-release. We do not yet disclose the details, but the owners of the PC are waiting for absolutely exclusive content in Destiny 2. And this is not just a decorative little thing, but a serious thing. For us, the PC market is no less important than the console, so in our interests to replenish the army of the keepers.
